You think Ice Cube'll show up? Well his cuz... Del tha Funkee Homosapein's gonna be at Emo's on Oct. 6th. Well Cube or not... Del'll no doubt hold it down... I mean he is part of the legendary Hieroglyphics! Sharing the stage'll be DJ Mike Relm, Motion Man, and Bukue One.

Del was born and raised in Oakland, California. In 1991 Del, with part of his cousin Ice Cube’s backing band Daont onclick="BLOG_clickHandler(this)" class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_11"> Lench Mob, made his first solo album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here, with support from Ice Cube. The title “Brother George,” possibly adapted from a Liberace catch phrase[1], refers to legendary funk musician George Clinton[citation needed]. Critics and fans had mixed opinions about the album, but more were positive then negative. Del's next album, No Need for Alarm, did not feature Ice Cube. It did, however, mark the first appearance of Del's crew Hieroglyphics.
