Terp2it: "Half Man Half Beard" Kick Starter Project

From the beard not pubic department... When Terp2It aka Chris Trew came at me to help promote his project in turn for some beard hair, I jumped at the opportunity! The album's been recorded and is currently being mixed and mastered. Backers to this project help fund the production of Terp2it's third studio album "Half Man Half Beard" including studio time, mastering and creation of the final product as well as promotions. The album is set to release this November at FunFunFun Fest and will be printed locally at Affordable Sound in association with Studio8.net and The Megaphone.

Help bring the next Terp2It album to life by backing it at the "Half Man Half Beard" Kick Starter Project!

He's a regular performer at SXSW and comedy festivals across the country. His sketch comedy group Studio8.net has a pilot airing on Comedy Central this October and he is part owner of The Megaphone which operates comedy venues in Dallas, Austin and (soon) New Orleans.

More info:

Sean Michael Leonard Anderson (born March 25, 1988) is an American hip hop artist who primarily goes by the stage name Big Sean. He was born in Santa Monica, California and moved to the Detroit, Michigan area at two months of age. Sean signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music in 2007, and then in 2008 signed with Island Def Jam. He has been featured in The Source and the Detroit Metro Times.[1]

Sean was raised by his mother, where he would grow up with his little cousins Justin Primus and Gregg Pluta in Southwest Detroit.[2] In his early childhood Sean attended Detroit Waldorf School for the arts. After eighth grade, Sean attended Cass Technical High School. He later met Sean Menifee, an older teen who mentored him after recognizing his wordplay skills. Since Sean was much smaller than his mentor, many called him "Big Sean" when reffering to him as an ironic joke. In his later years in high school, Sean gained a valuable relationship with Detroit hip hop station 102.7 FM; he would show his rhyming skills on a weekly basis as part of a rap battle contest held by the station.[3]

Devin the Dude - Aces Lounge - September 3, 2010

From the Inception department... Devin the Dude @ Aces Lounge on Sept 3rd!

Get your tix here: http://devinthedudeaces.eventbrite.com/

More info:

Devin Copeland (born June 4, 1970), better known by his stage name, Devin the Dude, is a Houston hip hop artist. He is best known for his unique rapping style, his long career signed to Rap-A-Lot Records, and his 2002 song "Lacville '79". His relationship with the fans has made him a huge underground hit. Although he almost never makes it to the stage on time, he is always willing to share his many swishas & squares with the crowd.

Devin Copeland started out as a member of the Odd Squad, later known as the Coughee Brothaz, a group of rappers signed to Rap-A-Lot Records. The label is notable for being the home of hip-hop artists such as Geto Boys, Scarface, and Too Much Trouble. Devin Copeland moved on to become part of Scarface's Facemob, before going solo in 1998.[1] Copeland has released six solo albums: The Dude (1998), Just Tryin' ta Live (2002), To tha X-Treme (2004), Waitin' to Inhale (2007), Landing Gear (2008), and Suite 420 (2010). He also made a number of guest appearances, including on Dr. Dre's "Fuck You" in 1999, and De La Soul's "Baby Phat" in 2001.[1]

In 2008, he ended his 15 year relationship with Houston based Rap-A-Lot Records because the label failed to renew his contract.[2] Later that year, he signed with indie label Razor & Tie.[3] Devin is currently being distributed by E1 Entertainment, formerly Koch.
